In this recipe, lasagna with broccoli rabe and sausage, a perfect winter main course! This time, we were inspired by a typical Mediterranean culinary tradition pairing: sausage and broccoli rabe, a rich dish with timeless rustic flavors, to which we added a creamy and velvety béchamel sauce. INGREDIENTS

Lasagne egg pasta 6.3 oz (180 g) - (12 sheets)
Provola cheese 7.1 oz (200 g)
Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese 2 cups (200 g)
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Fine salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

Whole milk 2 cups (500 g)
Type 00 flour 0.4 cup (50 g)
Butter 3 ½ tbsp (50 g)

Broccoli rabe 2.2 lbs (1 kg) - to clean
Fresh chili pepper 1
Garlic 2 cloves

Preparation

How to prepare Lasagna with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage

To prepare lasagna with broccoli rabe and sausage, first take care of the béchamel: heat the milk in a saucepan 1. Melt the butter in another saucepan over low heat 2, then pour in the flour all at once 3. Stir vigorously with a whisk to avoid lumps.

Continue stirring until you get a golden mixture. Pour a little hot milk 4, stir, and pour in the rest of the milk. Salt and pepper 5. Cook the béchamel for about 5-6 minutes. Keep at room temperature covered with plastic wrap in contact 6.

Peel and chop the onion 7. Remove the casing from the sausage by scoring with a knife 8, crumble the sausage with your hands 9.
