To prepare nasi goreng, first get all the ingredients ready: thinly slice the green part of the scallion 1, then cut the white part lengthwise 2 and julienne it 3.
Peel the carrots and cut them into 4 lengthwise 4, then remove the central part 5 and slice them obliquely 6.
Cut the chili into slices 7 and julienne the cabbage 8. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the basmati rice for 8 minutes 9.
In the meantime, clean the chicken breast 10 and cut it into approximately 1-inch pieces 11. Once the rice is cooked, drain it and let it cool in a colander 12.
Also prepare the ingredients for decoration: cut the tomato into wedges 13, then peel the cucumber in alternating strips 14 and slice it thinly 15.
