INGREDIENTS

Ice 2.2 lbs (500 g)
Prosecco 8.1 oz (240 ml)
Elderberry syrup 0.8 cup (180 ml)
Soda water 1 ¼ cup (300 ml)
Mint 16 leaves
for garnish
Lime 1

How to prepare Hugo spritz

To prepare the Hugo Spritz, fill a glass halfway with ice 1. Then pour 2 oz of prosecco 2 and 1.5 oz of elderflower syrup 5.

Add 4 mint leaves 4. Pour more ice 5 and finish with soda until you almost reach the rim of the glass: about 2.5 oz for each cocktail 6

Stir well 7, garnish with a lime slice 8 and a mint leaf. Your Hugo Spritz is ready to be served 9!

For a truly refreshing and aromatic Hugo Spritz, use high-quality elderflower syrup and do not overdo the quantities so as not to overpower other flavors. 

Choose a well-chilled prosecco, extra dry or brut, so the cocktail will be balanced and not too sweet.
