PRESENTATION

If you’re craving something quick yet special, creamy pasta is a staple on Italian tables. And look, this creamy herb pasta comes together with just a few simple ingredients you probably have on hand. The sauce has a smooth, velvety texture. Really nice. It's all thanks to a bit of cream mixed with the starchy pasta water. Fresh herbs like parsley or basil add a bright, almost sweet flavor that totally balances beautifully with the rich cream.

Italians have long known how to make a satisfying meal from whatever is available. And this creamy garlic pasta is a perfect example. You get a tender bite from the linguine—all coated in a sauce that’s comforting and super easy to whip up, even on the busiest nights.

And here's the thing: In various Italian regions, the herbs or pasta shape might vary. So you might find this dish with tagliatelle or penne instead of linguine. But really, no matter what you choose, that mix of creamy, herby goodness makes every forkful taste like homemade comfort food. It’s the kind of herb pasta that doesn’t require anything fancy—just good ingredients and a few minutes of your time. Pretty simple.

Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, this dish fits seamlessly with other easy pasta recipes from Italy, where the focus is always on flavor rather than fuss. Some folks like to toss in extras like peas or mushrooms—totally your call—but the core of this creamy pasta lies in that moist, golden sauce and those fresh, bright herbs. When you want something satisfying that evokes the warmth of Italian kitchens and those last-minute, magical meals, a plate of creamy herb pasta is really really it. It's a sign of how simple food can taste amazing with the right touches. How to prepare Creamy herb pasta

To prepare the creamy pasta, first place a pot full of salted water on the stove, and when it reaches a boil, add the pasta, cooking it for the time indicated on the package. In the meantime, prepare the sauce: finely chop the herbs: thyme, marjoram, rosemary, and sage 1. In a bowl, pour in the fresh spreadable cheese 2 and season it with the herb mixture 3

and the grated Parmesan cheese 4. Thin it with the milk 5 and mix everything with a spoon or spatula to blend the ingredients and flavors 6.

Pour the obtained cream into a large pan and soften it with a ladle of pasta cooking water 7. Stir 8 and when the pasta is cooked, drain it directly into the pan 9.

Stir one last time to flavor the linguine 10. Serve the creamy herb pasta immediately, seasoning it with freshly ground pepper to taste 11 and garnishing it with marjoram leaves 12.

Storage

We recommend consuming the creamy herb pasta immediately, otherwise it might dry out too much. Freezing is not recommended.

To make your creamy herb pasta, fresh cow's milk ricotta, well-drained from its whey, will also work well!
