Sugar-free chocolate salami

PRESENTATION

Among the no-bake desserts, it is certainly the most loved for its simple goodness! Today we offer it in a lighter version: we are talking about the sugar-free chocolate salami! We usually prepare the classic chocolate salami, perhaps with milk or dark chocolate left over from Easter eggs, a simple recipe without cooking with very few ingredients. No oven, no mixer (or whisk) and in this case also no added sugar, just a sprinkling of icing sugar to simulate the external patina of real salami! The result will be a sliced dessert that will tempt all your guests!

INGREDIENTS
Cookies 0.5 lb (210 g)
Greek yogurt 1 cup (230 g)
Dark chocolate 1 ¼ cup (200 g) - (65%)
Unsweetened cocoa powder ⅓ cup (30 g)
Toasted hazelnuts ⅓ cup (40 g)
Powdered sugar to taste
Preparation

How to prepare Sugar-free chocolate salami

To prepare the sugar-free chocolate salami, toast the hazelnuts in a pan for a few minutes, turning them often 1 to brown them evenly 2. Chop them with a knife 3.

Chop the dark chocolate 4, place it in a saucepan to melt it in bain-marie 5 6, over moderate heat. Once ready, let it cool.

Let's crumble the dry cookies 7 and pour them into a bowl. In the same one, add the chopped toasted hazelnuts 8 and the yogurt 9.

Pour the melted chocolate 10 and cocoa powder 11. Mix until you get a homogeneous mixture 12.

Transfer the mixture on a parchment paper sheet 13, wrap the paper around it 14 and compact it to give it a cylindrical shape 15.

Wrap the chocolate salami in plastic wrap. Close the ends 16 and let it rest for 3 hours or more in the refrigerator. After this time, remove the wrap 17 and sprinkle with icing sugar to taste 18.

Storage

Sugar-free chocolate salami can be kept in the fridge for a couple of days.

You can freeze it.
