PRESENTATION
Honey glazed salmon is all about mixing that sweet caramel flavor with the right hint of tender fish. It's kinda a standout at dinner. As the honey turns golden and sticky on the salmon, you end up with a bite that's this awesome combo of crispy and soft. You know, much like something from a fancy restaurant—but way simpler to make at home. Seriously.
What makes this caramelized salmon recipe special is the extra touch of ricotta and turmeric foam. Not something you see every day, right? But it totally works. This fluffy, lightly spiced ricotta adds richness and a pop of color to every forkful. And look, even though it sounds like high-end cooking, it is actually a pretty easy salmon recipe to whip up. You don’t need anything wild to make it happen. Plus, the honey sauce isn't just for show; it brings a mellow, floral sweetness that perfectly balances the natural flavor of the fish without being too heavy.
Anyone who loves honey garlic salmon or is looking for a new quick salmon dinner will find this dish both simple and impressive on the table. Using a siphon to create the ricotta turmeric foam might feel a bit fancy, but it’s a clever move. And—here's the thing—it adds a light, airy touch to the plate. How to prepare Honey Caramelized Salmon
To prepare the honey caramelized salmon, start by placing a pan with a drizzle of oil on the stove, add the salmon fillets 1 and cook them over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, without turning them 2. Meanwhile, sift the ricotta in a separate bowl, helping yourself with a spatula and a sieve 3;
add the ground turmeric 4 and fresh liquid cream 5 to the ricotta, salt to taste, and mix well with a spatula to blend everything together 6.
Transfer the ricotta mixture into a siphon 7, screw on the cap 8, and insert the gas inside, then shake vigorously. After 10 minutes of cooking, gently turn the salmon fillets with a spatula 9,
salt 10, pepper, lower the heat and cook over low heat for another 2-3 minutes. Then pour the honey into the pan 11 and cook for about 2 more minutes. At this point, gently remove the salmon fillets from the pan, preserving the cooking juices 12,
and transfer them to the serving plate, on which you have placed some lamb's lettuce leaves 13. Now deglaze the cooking juices by pouring a ladle of water into the pan where you cooked the salmon 14 and bring it to a boil, stirring until it thickens to form a sauce 15.
To serve, add a dollop of ricotta foam next to the salmon 16 and sprinkle with a teaspoon of the cooking juices 17: your honey caramelized salmon is ready to be enjoyed 18!
