PRESENTATION

Yet another recipe to add to your favorites for those sweet winter breaks, after classic hot chocolate or the original hot chocolate on a stick: hot coconut chocolate is made with dark chocolate and coconut milk. We immersed the unmistakable exotic fruity note in the notorious creaminess and sweetness of this morish beverage. We decided to serve it with a dash of dark cocoa powder and a macaroon, but feel free to garnish it with fresh coconut flakes or serve it with some coconut sweets... we're sure that even if you enjoy it alone, it will still make for a truly delicious experience! However you choose to serve it, hot coconut chocolate will win you over!

INGREDIENTS

Coconut milk 2 cups (500 g)
Dark chocolate ¾ cup (120 g)
Unsweetened cocoa powder 3 tbsp (20 g)
Sugar 2 tbsp (20 g)
Cornstarch 2 tbsp (15 g)
For garnishing
Fresh liquid cream 5 tbsp (80 g)
Amaretti cookies 2 - (optional)
Unsweetened cocoa powder to taste - (optional)

How to prepare Hot coconut chocolate

To prepare hot coconut chocolate, start by finely chopping the dark chocolate 1. Place the coconut milk in a saucepan 2 and heat on a medium flame; add the corn starch, stirring with a whisk all the while 3.

Add the dark cocoa powder 4 and continue to stir. Now add the sugar 5 and bring to the boil, stirring all the while: this will take a few minutes. Remove from the heat and last of all, add the finely chopped chocolate 6,
