Fried Hummus Bites

Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas, dry (300g or about 1 1/3 cups) Soak in water overnight, then drain.
  • Onion, roughly chopped (1 onion)
  • A bunch of parsley.
  • Seasonings: 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.

Instructions:

  1. Blend the chickpeas, onion, and parsley until you get a smooth mixture.
  2. Stir the seasonings into the blended mixture.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and fry them until golden brown.

Sour Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Sour cream (150g or approximately 2/3 cup)
  • Greek cheese, crushed (50g or approximately 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon)
  • Seasonings: salt to taste and a drizzle of olive oil.

Instructions:

  1. Mix the sour cream with the crushed Greek cheese.
  2. Add salt to taste and a drizzle of olive oil.

Bell Pepper Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Bell peppers, blended into a puree (200g or about 1 cup)
  • Seasonings: 1 tablespoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes, a drizzle of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.

Instructions:

  1. Blend the bell peppers with the salt and chili flakes.
  2. Then season with olive oil and soy sauce.

Assemble
