Stuffed Cabbage Cutlets



  • 1 head of green cabbage
  • 500g (1.1 lbs) ground meat
  • 1 onion
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon paprika

- For the batter:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Boil a whole head of cabbage in water for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in a pan with a drizzle of oil.
  3. Combine the sautéed onion and garlic with the ground meat, seasoning it with paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  4. Carefully separate the cabbage leaves, remove the thick stem, and use them as a base.
  5. Place the meat filling on one half of each cabbage leaf, then fold over the other half to encase the filling.
  6. Dip the stuffed cabbage leaves in a batter made of eggs, sour cream, and flour.
  7. Cook in a preheated pan until golden brown on both sides.
