INGREDIENTS

  • Slow-fermented Italian dough
  • Tomato base (just tomatoes + a pinch of salt)
  • Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP
  • Fresh basil
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Aglianico red wine (for pairing)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Stretch your dough thin. Spread the tomato base evenly over the surface.
  • Gently lay on the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP.
  • Add a few fresh basil leaves and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
  • Bake in a hot oven until the crust is golden and the cheese melts into creamy perfection.
  • Serve with a glass of Aglianico and enjoy the true taste of Southern Italy in every bite.

Daniele Uditi, an Italian pizzaiolo chef in the U.S., is known for his innovative interpretations of Neapolitan pizza, blending tradition and creativity.
Born in Naples and raised in the province of Caserta, he developed a passion for the art of pizza from a young age. In 2010, he moved to California, where he began his journey and gained recognition as a pizzaiolo and personal chef to various celebrities. In 2017, he founded "Pizzana," a pizza chain now boasting seven locations across California and Texas.
