Panino with Roast Beef and Provolone



  • 8.8 ounces (250 grams) of roast beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil (EVO)
  • 5 slices of provolone cheese
  • One onion, coarsely diced
  • A sesame bun


  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil on a grill or in a skillet.
  2. Sauté the onion for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the roast beef cut into strips and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Place the slices of provolone cheese on top of the roast beef, allowing them to melt slightly.
  5. Open the sesame bun and stuff it with the mixture of roast beef, onion, and provolone.
  6. Grill the stuffed bun on the same grill for a few minutes until it is warm and slightly toasted.
