Honey-Glazed Chicken Drumsticks & Roasted Veggies



- For the chicken:

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • Olive oil as needed
  • Salt as needed
  • Pepper as needed
  • Fresh rosemary

- For the vegetables:

  • 4 green onions
  • 4 potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • ½ head of garlic
  • Salt, pepper

- For the sauce:

  • 2/3 cup honey (100g)
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce (100g)
  • 1/3 cup sweet and sour sauce (50g)
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • Juice of 1 lemon


  1. Prepare the chicken drumsticks by removing the lower part of the bone. Season them with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Sear in a pan for 5 minutes per side and set aside.
  2. Slice the green onions and let them stew in the pan with a head of garlic. Then, slice the potatoes and carrots and add them to the pan. Season with salt and pepper and sauté.
  3. In an oiled baking dish, add the vegetables and place the chicken drumsticks on top. Cover everything with the sauce.
  4. To make the sauce, combine honey, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, mustard, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  5. Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 35 minutes and serve!
