Homemade Pizza



For the Dough:

  • 3 1/3 cups (500 g) of all-purpose flour
  • 1 2/3 cups (390 g) of water
  • ½ teaspoon (2 g) of instant yeast
  • 2 teaspoons (10 g) of salt

For the Topping:

  • Tomato sauce, as needed
  • Fiordilatte mozzarella, as needed
  • Fresh basil, to taste


  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour with the yeast.
  2. Add the water and begin to knead until the mixture is homogeneous.
  3. Add the salt and continue kneading.
  4. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Knead again and let it rest for another 15 minutes.
  6. Divide the dough into 3 parts, knead them slightly and let them rest for an hour and a half.
    1. Spread the dough in a pan.
    2. Spread the tomato sauce over the rolled-out dough.
    3. Cook the pizza in a preheated static oven at the highest temperature for 10 minutes.
    4. Add the fiordilatte mozzarella to the pizza.
    5. Switch the oven to the grill method and cook for another 3 minutes.
    6. At the end of cooking, garnish the pizza with fresh basil leaves.
