Coffee Mousse with Biscuit Layers

Ingredients

For Coffee Mousse:

  • 1 tablespoon (30 grams) of instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) of sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) of cold water
  • 3/4 cup (200 ml) of whipped cream

For the Biscuits:

  • 1 cup (150 grams) of biscuits
  • 2 tablespoons (30 grams) of melted butter

Procedure

  1. Mix the instant coffee, sugar, and cold water together.
  2. Blend until you achieve a soft cream consistency.
  3. Fold in the whipped cream thoroughly.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag.
    1. Crush the biscuits and mix with the melted butter.
      1. Pour a layer of mousse into a glass.
      2. Add a layer of the biscuit mixture.
      3. Repeat the layering of mousse and biscuit mixture.
      4. Finish with a final layer of mousse.
      5. Smooth the surface and garnish with crushed chocolate.
