Chocolate Oatmeal Banana Cake

INGREDIENTS (for a 12 inch loaf pan)

  • 180g oat flakes
  • 375g hot milk
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 packet of baking powder
  • 50g almonds

- For the chocolate cream:

  • 50ml hot cream
  • 100g chocolate

PROCEDURE

Mix the oat flakes with hot milk and let it soak for 10 minutes. Once ready, mash 3 ripe bananas and stir into the mixture. Also add 3 eggs, cocoa powder, and baking powder.

Pour everything into a 12 inch loaf pan. Cover with chopped almonds and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 40 minutes.

Prepare the chocolate cream by mixing hot cream and chocolate. Once the cake is ready, pour the chocolate over the surface and let cool.
