Caramel Pudding with Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) of milk
  • 1/3 cup (70 g) of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Vanilla, to taste
  • Caramel, to taste
  • Chopped /crushed peanuts

Procedure

  1. Heat the milk and set it aside.
  2. Caramelize 1/3 cup of sugar; add the hot milk when the caramel is ready.
  3. In a bowl, beat the 2 eggs with vanilla and pour the warm milk over them.
  4. Strain the mixture and transfer it to ceramic dishes.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and place the dishes in a pot with a finger's depth of water.
  6. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  7. Once cooked, let them cool completely for at least 3 hours.
  8. Decorate with caramel and peanuts (optional).
