PRESENTATION
Crispy salmon with noodle salad—it’s all about combining those bold Mediterranean and Asian flavors, you know? Imagine this: a piece of crispy salmon, baked with fresh herbs and zesty citrus, sealing in all those amazing aromas while keeping the inside super tender and flaky. Pretty much perfect for a summer dinner with friends or a refreshing weeknight change.
So here's the thing, the salad—where the magic happens. Spicy soba or rice noodles mixed with Swiss chard and a handful of Taggiasca olives give it that tangy pop. Fans of fusion cuisine? You'll love it. The saltiness of the olives and brightness of citrus take this dish in a new direction—away from your typical Asian-inspired salad.
And listen, you might want to play around. Add some toasted seeds or nuts for an extra crispy bite. The result? A plate that looks as good as it tastes—those colorful greens, the pink moist salmon, and a scattering of olives that’s just calling out to be shared. Around the Mediterranean, folks often swap Swiss chard for spinach or arugula, giving it a more peppery kick.
With countless quick dinner ideas out there, this is a standout. To be honest, dishes like this are perfect for anyone seeking something different without a ton of effort. And the best part? You can totally riff on the core idea. Think sesame-crusted salmon, noodles with a punchy vinaigrette, or toss in whatever local veggies are in season. No matter how you tweak it, this salmon noodle salad stays fresh and packed with flavor.
It really brings a fun twist to healthy salmon recipes and easy seafood dishes that never get boring—really never. It's a must-try for anyone who loves a good fusion meal. For real.

How to prepare Crispy salmon with noodle salad
To prepare the herb-crusted salmon with noodles, first deal with the salmon: use a thin-bladed knife to remove the skin from the fillets 1 and the bones with the help of kitchen tweezers 2. Place the cleaned salmon fillets on a baking sheet and season with salt 3, pepper, thyme sprigs, and dill.
Drizzle them with olive oil 4 and season with lemon zest 5, then proceed to add the pistachios 6
and the olives 7. Massage and mix the ingredients so they season evenly 8. Now add the lemon you grated, cut into wedges 9. Bake the salmon in a preheated static oven at 392°F for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, clean the Swiss chard: cut away the stalk 10, wash the leaves, and chop them coarsely 11. Peel the ginger 12,
and cut it into thin strips 13. Now remove the chili pepper stalk, split it lengthwise, and remove the seeds 14. Cook the rice noodles in boiling salted water for about 6-7 minutes 15.
Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a pan with peeled and whole garlic cloves, ginger, and chili pepper 16. Let them season for a couple of minutes, then add the Swiss chard 17 and cook everything for another 4 minutes. As soon as the noodles are cooked, drain them directly into the pan with the Swiss chard 18
Mix to season 19 and when the salmon is also ready, remove it from the oven 20 and serve it together with the noodles 21.
